From the Inside Out: Why I Coach
I've spent three decades in federal service — starting as an enlisted airman and working my way to a GS-15 overseeing organizations of up to 2,000 people. By every measurable standard, I was succeeding. But for much of that time, I was quietly convinced I didn't belong in the rooms I was sitting in.
That's what imposter syndrome does. It follows you into the promotion. It whispers during the briefing. It makes you perform confidence you don't actually feel.
What changed wasn't a better strategy or a stronger mindset framework. What changed was a coach who helped me see myself through a different lens — one rooted in who God made me to be, not just what I'd accomplished. That experience didn't just improve my performance. It changed how I lead, how I show up, and how I see the men I'm responsible for.
I work with Christian men in demanding leadership roles — mid-level managers, senior executives, government leaders, and military veterans who are carrying real weight and doing it largely alone.
These are men who are competent. Experienced. Respected by others. And still haunted by a voice that says they're one bad decision away from being found out.
If that's you, you're not broken. You're not uniquely weak. And the answer isn't buried somewhere inside you waiting to be unlocked — it's grounded in something far more solid than that.
Coaching with me is direct, faith-integrated, and built around your actual situation — not a generic framework.
We work together in focused 1:1 sessions, meeting bi-weekly over six sessions. Each conversation is structured to move you forward — from identifying the specific lies your inner critic is telling you, to building the confidence that holds under pressure, to leading in a way that reflects both your competence and your faith.
Sessions are virtual via Google Meet or in-person if you're in the Augusta/Evans, GA area.
I'm currently completing my ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, with certification expected in late 2026. My coaching is grounded in both professional training and 30 years of lived leadership experience at every level of federal service.
